Synopsis

HINTS AND ALLEGATIONS PART 2 - NO LAUGHING MATTER Catwoman barely escapes an exploding building as she thinks, "This has not been a good day." The Joker has doused her with tagyurit, a chemical that allows him to track her wherever she goes, and he is following her around the city, killing any innocent she even casually passes.  Commissioner Gordon summons Batman, who asks if this is about Catwoman or the Joker. Gordon doesn't know. The evidence doesn't add up, and he asks Batman if it's possible they're working together this time. Batman says it's unlikely, but he can't rule anything out.   Catwoman considers leaving town rather than staying as Gotham's own Typhoid Mary, but just as she's considering that, an airplane is downed and almost lands on her. She decides she can't leave when they're having so much fun.   The Joker, watching, isn't amused. The people they'd just killed were already gassed, which throws off the comedic timing. He demands to know where Batman is.   Catwoman is on the move when she is surrounded by the Gotham City Police Department. She tells them to back off for their own safety, but they don't listen to her. She's forced to drive away on her motorcycle as another missile heads to their location.   Batman then arrives in a monster truck variation of the Batmobile, and the missiles turn into fireworks of cupids. Together, Catwoman and Batman question the airport employees for the Joker's location. Batman grows frustrated with Catwoman when she is too rough on a suspect, and he asks her to consider how the families of the victims feel.   Batman can't track the Joker, but he can track Catwoman now that he's replicated the system the Joker is using. He assures her that the tagyurit will wear off in thirty days, and it won't turn her hair green. But it makes her a target for the time being, and as long as it does, she's a hazard to others.   His plan is to put her in solitary at Blackgate Penitentiary until this is all over, but Catwoman won't hear of it. He grabs her by the wrist and reminds her that lives are at stake, and she says "Like yours!" as she kicks him in the stomach. Catwoman steals the tracker from his belt and throws it in the water after she leaves. She takes shelter at a flight academy which should be deserted until daylight. Then she waits.   The Joker and his henchmen follow her radioactive signal to the flight academy. Catwoman jumps on top of their car, which makes the Joker laugh, and the Joker drugs his henchman with Joker Venom when he asks "What's so funny?" The car veers out of control. Catwoman fights off the henchmen as the car speeds along until she eventually makes her way inside.   She wants to know why the Joker is doing this, but he drugs her with Joker Venom too. Catwoman laughs hysterically as she is thrown inside a burlap sack. The Joker disposes of the sack in the Gotham Dome, and when Catwoman cuts herself free--still laughing--she tells the watching civilians to get away from her. Their lives depend on it.
